I would completely remove the storage room next to the kitchen. Otherwise, see #4!

if you paint the pantry, you will get a bigger kitchen underneath and more will surely fit in the kitchen cabinets than in the pantry.
I also find the placement of the washing machine and dryer with access through a dirty garage inappropriate. Sometimes you quickly run to the dryer (possibly in underwear) to get something. Especially children are sometimes in a hurry to put on their favorite T-shirt again as quickly as possible. I wouldn’t let my children constantly rush past my car, because eventually someone will scratch it. Besides, it is freezing cold in the garage in winter, which makes doing laundry very uncomfortable and the door to the house is then always open.

What does your planner say about the topic of KFW? It is a condition that the heat generator is located within the thermal envelope. Does this apply to the technical room? How is it constructed?

Good point, I have to address that right away. The garage with extensions is planned to be fully insulated using timber frame construction.

Change the storage door position and opening direction, you will have more storage space.

Otherwise, you all seem to be focused on the laundry room. For us, however, this is not a makeshift solution due to possible space issues, but intended that way.

I would be very interested to hear what the planner says about the technical room. I find the approach quite interesting.
Insulation is one thing, but does the room also need to be heated? What criteria must be met for it to be considered part of the thermal envelope? Questions upon questions :)
