But I have been living in a new building since October 2016, kfw70, supposedly the latest air-water heat pump heating... I somehow find 1000 kwh a high number

Here completion June 2016, 154 m², 2 adults + 2 children, Kfw 70, 154 m², air-to-water heat pump, consumption January 2017: 930 kWh heat pump electricity plus 280 kWh household electricity.

So-so, the colder it is, the less efficient an air-to-water heat pump is. Here are my latest data:

For us, there were also a few nights around -18°C, but the average temperature was significantly higher. However, for me, the period from December to March has always been relatively heating-intensive, while very little was needed in the other months.

You can tell it was cold in January.

116 kWh October
263 kWh November
287 kWh December
403 kWh January (intentionally without fireplace)

On average, about 60-70 kWh for hot water must be deducted from this.

Hmm, for one month even 1000 is quite a lot. We have nearly 2500 since mid-October and that is already a lot. The question is also, what do you mean by underfloor heating 20° room temp. 22°?
You don't have a flow temperature of 20° that makes the house warmer than the water in the heating system, do you?
