Those are good numbers, aren’t they? What do you mean by "only gas heating," no solar, no RWG? How is the Renewable Energy Heat Act requirement met then?
I actually still find the gas values too high... The reason is that a 24 kW gas boiler was installed here, even though the heating load was calculated at just under 4.8 kW. So it cycles quite a bit... for now, we’re living with it because the heating company is from the family. I’m therefore still curious about the first real billing from the municipal utilities and what the heating + hot water preparation will actually cost me monthly. But the summer months have made themselves felt here; I turned off the underfloor heating and only had hot water on. From mid-May to mid-September, I only consumed 80 m³ of gas (I think about 0.5-0.6 m³ daily).
And exactly for that reason, I gave up on solar, photovoltaics, RWG. The cost for the 80 m³ of gas for the summer has to be recovered first.
Our electricity consumption—why, I don’t know—is apparently in the lower average range. When we moved out of our apartment (75 sqm) last year, we had a monthly electricity bill of 38 euros. The annual consumption was 1200 kWh. After moving into the house, I had the worst fears, but around 1800 kWh is still okay... despite a 50% increase. But that’s probably also due to my partner being on parental leave...
Oh, we are 4 people (2 adults, 1 x 7 years, 1 x 1.5 years).
I just read up on the EEWG for the first time. I suppose it was about the compensatory measures (insulation)... meaning the house is 15 percent below the legal requirements. Since we didn’t build according to a KfW standard, I honestly haven’t really dealt with it.
