Even here in this thread, basement concrete is equated with the product "White Tank," which is not true. In this respect, I would not immediately agree with the statement :)
The exterior basement walls are 25 cm thick, formwork-rough on both sides, concreting with waterproof concrete according to the structural engineer. At the connection of the rising wall to the floor slab, a joint sealing tape is inserted.
This corresponds to the construction of a White Tank in my opinion, but still is not one. The White Tank includes supervision by a specialist and all the fuss that comes with it. But who really needs that.
Be that as it may, as described, the thing is watertight. It does not need a black coating.

I would really question that because the WU concrete only becomes watertight due to its thickness. A dowelling action would not be beneficial for that. Normally, perimeter insulation is glued.
