So I wouldn’t need one. Shrubs and/or a hedge, preferably loosely arranged, would be enough for me and the two existing neighbors (old stock) also only have a hedge or shrubs. But my husband really wants one. This boundary is emotionally important to him. So here with us the opinion is 50 50 o_O

Since the question is about "wanting," I ticked "no." I find the "GET OUT!" signs in Uncle Scrooge's garden decidedly more likeable. However, I have to admit that cats do not always reliably make it clear to the dogs whose territory it is.

That is offered exclusively by transparent enclosures. Burglars love nothing more than privacy screens while working. That saves the lookout, who secondly wants a share of the spoils and first of all is not least also a singing risk.

A chatting bench belongs in front of a residential house.

[Fence is a must. Here is the reason:

For me, that would not be a reason. ;-) I already often tell the walkers and their dogs that I will always have sausages for their darlings in the fridge. :) I almost already know all the dogs' names, even before those of their owners.

So far, I find the survey result surprising, but I am happy about it.

Some owners don’t like the S-word being spoken in the presence of their favorites at all – and even less so a dog fattening lady who “spoils” an otherwise well-behaved dog with non-vegan sausages. Very thin ice! The best thing is to remember each dog’s allergies etc. as well.

We have a 60 cm high chain-link fence in the backyard towards both neighbors, which was installed everywhere in the settlement (all planned and built by one company) and was part of the construction work, whether you wanted it or not :p I think that's OK, a 180 or 200 cm high privacy fence like others have reminds me too much of a prison yard, unless you have a small park as a garden.

That sounds more like a welded wire fence than a chain-link fence (which, by the way, you would only need to keep away hairy bittercress, *LOL*).
