I mean that bamboo actually needs an acclimatization period to shoot up in height. I'll google yours ...

What did you pay for this beauty??????

I quickly read that it is a new type... that's probably why it is not yet widespread

Here are a few photos:

The shoots are less than three weeks old and both over one meter long. Since the leaves are not yet open, they will continue to grow taller.

The shoot is less than 48 hours old and about 10 cm tall.

Here is a section of the hedge. The hedge was planted about 8 weeks ago with a planting distance of 60 cm. The plants were between 100 and 150 cm tall and cost about 30 euros each in a 20-liter container. However, on the breeder’s advice, we planted them in TKS2 special soil and needed a whole pallet of it, which cost around 500 euros directly from the manufacturer. So, for about 30 meters of hedge, we paid around 2000 euros. Certainly not cheap, but quickly dense and tall, no cemetery look, evergreen in winter, and simply something different...

That really shouldn't be an insult or anything. It was just our very personal association with some other hedge we looked at. Everyone should arrange their home the way he/she likes!
