You won't really have the free choice in terms of warranty law. My assumption is: you ordered from a distributor who only has the desired color in their program, but the manufacturer offers several, and delivered the wrong one. Possibly the two colors have the codes 0815 and 0185 or some stupid little mistake with big consequences. I don't think this error will repeat itself—unless the distributor is foolish and forwards the complaint with too little explanation (then however probably you’ll get the same faultless brown again in exchange for brown). As a precaution, take what remains of your school English and check with the manufacturer whether it could have been due to something as silly as my assumption. But don’t dawdle over it with the proper complaint.

Exactly, you can even see that the brown one is pine and the light one larch, which is significantly more expensive - so also still worm-eaten. Complain and have it delivered again.

Both the timber merchant and the supplier believe that the fence is getting lighter. Are you really saying that it is larch in the picture? The catalog (see photo) mentions something about pressure-treated pine / spruce. Man, man, man... it won't be that simple. According to the merchant, the supplier will only deliver this color again...

... and you can even keep it: by the time the chocolate brown has faded, St. Neverday has already come three times, and you can forget about warranty periods

If he gives you that in writing, you will be allowed to rescind

fundamental consideration - larch / pine turns gray when treated colorless (just look around the area) - when treated with color, the color remains, fades over the years and turns gray, - there is no wood that still looks like the picture after 10 years - that’s why it is impregnated dark, it stays if you regularly repaint Best regards Nida (25 years wooden house)
