Hmm, it doesn't matter that I like to suffer it very much and that I don't notice the defect if you hadn't said anything. It also doesn't matter that after one or two years brown and gray have equalized in the joints. In other words, no one will know what color the joints were then.

.
Sets conditions. After all, brown was your wish. They should accommodate you with the invoice so that you can afford something nice.

As mentioned by the previous speakers: I would negotiate a price reduction - and that without involving a specialist lawyer or anything. They would make more money from it than you would get as a reduction.

Because as also written:

- I wouldn’t have even recognized the color in the photos
- brown joints - what possessed you? In my opinion, it’s exactly the low contrast that makes it work. It wouldn’t work with brown.

There is a good reason why it is usually done exactly the way you have it now...

The color I chose exactly matches the oak tone of the tiles, it is number 30 in the photo. There would have been no contrast at all.

Look at it positively - because of the contrast, you don’t fall asleep while walking over it now...

...compared to many other builders, you are already far ahead. Of course, he must understand that this is a mistake, which he apparently does. I also believe that this contrast will soon disappear; here, the often-used phrase "people look the other way" is rightfully applicable. I would not want to accept a serious error that prevents a function or has a significant impact on my comfort, but I would settle this here in the previously good cooperation. Whether you negotiate a financial discount or they accommodate you elsewhere, you will be able to see that for yourself. I myself also get annoyed at first when I don’t receive something firmly agreed upon, and with our house, those were very many things. Some things today even look intentional or like an architectural flash of genius, although it was, for example, just pure laziness/lack of design interest of the carpenter who installed a 10cm step in the ceiling at the bedroom transition to the dressing area.

In advance - it looks good. To be honest, maybe even better than with a brown grout.

We had a similar issue during the building inspection. Our two showers were given different wall tile colors, the lighter shower was supposed to have a light grout and the darker shower the dark grout.

At the inspection, both showers had the light grout. The site manager immediately said that this was discussed differently and that the tiler would mill out the grout and redo it. It sounded like effort to me but definitely "doable."
It wasn’t important enough for us to delay moving in by a week. But basically, there’s probably a way, it just costs labor time and therefore wasn’t offered to you right away?

I would take the money, unless you already know that you will always be annoyed by it.
