@alter

As far as I remember, you signed with a provider known as very inexpensive; please correct me if I am wrong. You don’t seriously believe that the responsible architect (paid comparable to the offers) makes any extra effort beyond positioning his employer appropriately in the market?

Everything has its price; including architects who think along

Is my provider known as very affordable? I know much cheaper ones. Incidentally, until recently they had worked with an architect who the builders I had met were very satisfied with. However, he was then "disposed of" by them.

I have personally found a consulting architect in the meantime who has a good reputation in our area. He will keep an eye on the plan author, has also reviewed the latest plans, and will supervise the construction later. Whether cheap or not, cheap does not necessarily mean sloppy. Or?

But strictly speaking, this has nothing to do with this article at all. After all, it is about whether it is a planning error if the windowpane cannot be replaced without rebuilding half the house. I might consult the Chamber of Architects and possibly hire a lawyer... or hope that nothing happens. By the way, I think the idea of a shatterproof pane is very good... if it is really shatterproof.

Again - it is _not_ a planning error. Repetitions do not change that. Even laypersons may be assumed to think along. After all, they are also capable of deciding per house construction

Here I have to respond again, I find it presumptuous to claim that someone who has never installed a window must see on the plan that although a window can be installed, later the pane cannot be replaced due to less than 10 cm of space.
That would mean all VW customers would also have had to know, for example, that the specified exhaust emission cannot be correct, etc.
