Please only consider the patio door. Some other details have changed afterwards. For example, all 5 windows South/West/East are 151x138.5.

We could only ever do 2 of the 3 elements without a mullion, and the third part would always have a "post" – that looks asymmetrical.

Do you mean the lift-and-slide door option doesn't work? Which variant would you recommend based on your experience?

I googled a bit about 3-part windows and found two more variants ;)
- 3-part folding sliding door ... would have the advantage of being able to open almost the entire width.

- 3-part, narrower fixed glazing in the middle and sufficiently large terrace doors on the right and left.

I estimate that the currently planned window with three elements can be purchased for 1500€. The lift-and-slide door will already cost twice as much. The folding wall ... dumdidum.

I don't find it uncharming. Something has to be installed now, unfortunately the planned dimension is simply unfavorable. It's a pity that no professional stumbled over it during the planning.

I honestly cannot imagine the folding door. Either a fixed element and then 2 doors with [Stulp] or a lift-and-slide door.

The window maker will now visualize and offer us all versions. Then we just have to decide if the extra cost is worth it for us.

Do you have multiple usernames - the floor plan seems familiar to me, but I can't find the house in your thread history (?)

A three-part folding sliding door should be possible.

For this house, lift-and-slide looks at least really un-French ;-)
