Well, I don’t believe in that (anymore).
May I out myself here as a long-time left-wing voter? Because, let’s be honest: No other party would really want to change this truly terrible situation for tenants (and the social injustice). It may be that the Left takes more from the better earners (including me) than other parties, but measures like in Berlin (selling social housing) would finally come to an end or reversal measures would be initiated.
Right now, “normal” families with average income certainly cannot afford a house if it is supposed to be paid off within one generation (until retirement). The volume is usually around 500K with land or even more. Much less would hardly work with land. Not everyone can build as cheaply as
Currently, I only know “above-average earners” who are building.
Two hearts beat in my chest: The entrepreneur’s heart that makes profits (has to make profits also to be able to pay employees well), and on the other side the social heart that is insanely bothered by the injustice and the ever faster growing income gap.
The rich will soon have to build fortresses to protect themselves against the revolutionary onslaught of the rightless and helpless!
