In the coalition agreement CDU/SPD, it was agreed to raise the earnings limits and adapt the conditions to the current circumstances. The only question is when?

That is interesting. Thanks for the info. If anyone hears anything about it, I am interested in news on the topic.

Thank you for the quick reply. And I agree with you, the information about raising the income limit is very interesting. After a conversation with an advisor from WI-Bank, I can say that in the case of reduced working hours, it depends on how foreseeable the return to the "old" working hours is. And here it applies: If the working hours are reduced for at least 12 months after the application date, it can be assumed that it is not a temporary condition. Ergo, then the reduced salary is taken into account. Whether the reduced working hours are due to parental leave or other part-time measures is irrelevant.

I have now looked into the coalition agreement. Unfortunately, there is nothing concrete in it yet, and paper is known to be patient. However, there is considerable pressure when it comes to housing promotion. Maybe it will come sooner rather than later.

Also interesting is the topic of "Hessengeld". A subsidy for the purchase of existing properties but also new buildings to offset the real estate transfer tax. I am also curious about the formulation. With two children, there could be a subsidy of €30,000...

Two children bring 20,000? 10000+2x5000?

10,000 per buyer + 5,000 per child. Therefore, I have now assumed 20,000 for a married couple. But that will probably only be certain once it is enshrined in a law. So, wait and see...
