NanoHD for the ceiling is recommended.

Please tell Rick, were you able to compare the ACs? I now have both the Nano and the Pro here, as I read that although the Nano has higher throughput, it apparently has noticeably less range in direct comparison. Can you say something about that? Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to test it yet due to time constraints. If that’s true, I would probably choose the Pro. Even though I don’t like that it’s so big. The throughput is still very high.

In Europe, the transmission powers are limited.
Thus, for example, the LR does not have more range either. The Pro is "snail-slow" compared to the NanoHD. I know both. Take a look at the Unifi comparison datasheet between the NanoHD and the Pro.
The Pro will also soon be EOL. Therefore, always use a current access point.
The Pro is also quite large and tall.
If that big, then just the HD. Totally over the top but really good.
The Pro has its strengths in the 2.4GHz network. This is rather uninteresting for the home user, instead the fast 5GHz band.

When positioning, make sure that the access point is not placed directly in the corner where the wall meets the ceiling. Always leave some distance from the wall.

Ok. Is the radiation otherwise not as effective?

I have both here. I’ll simply test both with the same settings. From the living room to the bedroom. The 1750 AVM does not reach through the entire apartment, 110sqm rather tube-shaped. I will base my orientation on that and then decide.
