The keyword here is "appropriate"... there is a lot of potential for legal disputes. We also had such a withdrawal clause in the contract for work. Additionally, we gave ourselves a 6-week unconditional right of withdrawal, and a withdrawal clause in case the loan was denied. From the moment we had the land clause, our house provider sent us a few exposés of properties now and then. But without any pressure. Here, I can imagine that enormous pressure might be applied, and it might even be implied that the customer is too picky. Then it gets interesting how a judge would rule on that :D

In our contract it was arranged that it was suspended ineffective (so not just a withdrawal clause) until we canceled it. We paid attention to a clear wording there, so that the construction contract could come into effect exactly for one property (and of course financing). But since everything fits for us, we had no problems now - but if so, the property would not have had to be purchased within a few months, and the contract would have been void.

well my problem????? you can't get out of such a contract!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! unless you pay 10% to Deutsche Fertighaus Holding. clause or not. according to the Verbraucherzentrale mainz, the contracts of Deutsche Fertighaus Holding are designed so that you only get out with a loss, if at all, without a lawyer. they all tell the same nonsense, the lady could finish my sentences, it was really amazing.

we get offers so that we know whether we build SF or with companies from our region (like acquaintances of ours) makes sense, right?!

Well, then you were too hasty in signing. I took my time with it, in my version I would have gotten out of it without costs. That already shows how worthwhile a professional review before signing can be. Otherwise, you cannot get any legal advice here ([Forenregeln+deutsches Recht grüßen]), at this late stage the only advice that can be given is that you need professional advice.
