Yes, but I have a list here that only demands 2900 EUR for everything together. But that is not what we are concerned about. With our modest budget, we want a house without a basement that should be healthy to live in. Preferably a wooden house without glue. And it should not just have 105 sqm, as there will constantly be 2 boys staying and my husband also requires a lot of space for himself. The carpenter who will build the house with the architect says we can manage that with 280,000 EUR including connections, but only with 105 to 110 sqm and only if it is a straightforward house without corners, etc.

I’m not quite sure what ideas you have going into this, but an architect would usually cost around 20,000 euros (excluding structural engineering and surveying), if that’s even sufficient. Or is it different in timber construction? I would find that somewhat surprising.

However, I find the principle of wanting to build ecologically commendable.

Now I still don't know whether a [Blähtonhaus] is just as ecological and healthy as a wooden house and whether there really are such big price differences.
