Which property to buy? The agony of choice

Are you actually sure that out of dozens of plots you really stand at rank 3 of those allowed to choose, meaning only two applicants ahead of you?
Even then, three favorites would be tight: if the other two applicants in the worst case had the same three favorites, your "selection" would only be the one remaining.

The municipality will allocate the plots starting from 08/23. The applicant with the highest score was invited to choose a plot at 8 o’clock.
Each applicant gets about an hour to choose a plot or to ask questions, etc. I only know this exactly because the applicant invited at 8 is someone from our family :-).

Apart from that: the (not necessarily jealous) envy of hundreds of readers is already guaranteed to you just for that, secondly because you can choose from so many plots, first, not in two years but now, and foremost because your selection does not include any obvious losers in between.

I simply can't imagine that – it shouldn’t have come to that yet, should it?!

Between …69-73 it is the orientation, between … 60-63 the combination of orientation and plot size makes the difference. … With 410 sqm I hardly see a useful garden (or play garden). Depending on how you look at it: both come up short, only one is possible.

We hope that we made the right choice and are already looking forward to the appointment at the municipality ;).

..so, we have gotten it over with and are now accordingly very relieved. There were no surprises - everything was as we had suspected. Two applicants were before us who chose the plots 1465 and 1466. We took the plot 1463.
