I would be interested to know if dimmable LEDs have a shorter lifespan. I have the problem that many LEDs advertised as "eternally durable" fail on me because they are controlled by a timer switch. Is it the same with dimmers?
That's simply due to the inrush currents. In other words, an LED can last 50,000 hours if it is on all the time. With each on/off switching, the lifespan shortens. However, often it is not the LEDs but
I had imagined it all a bit simpler... of course, I had already saved the lamps in the shopping cart before buying them, but unfortunately only 60W/9W, and that is definitely too much, as I now realize :(
With LEDs, unfortunately, nothing is simple at all. Since LEDs have entered the "normal" lighting market, buying lamps has become much, much more difficult and expensive.
There's no help for it, you have to try. Just buy a preferred variant. It can work, but it doesn't have to.
