Which light bulbs - only LED or others as well?

Yo,
I just bought the last 5 dimmable ones with 2.5W each. Each under 5€, a bargain for this rarity. From Osram..
However, not the vintage style, for that I would have to pay four times as much. I now have warm white in matte white glass.
I almost wrecked my PayPal account because they wanted a confirmation and apparently still had an old phone number saved.
I’m curious and will report back.

I'll spare myself disappointing words and ask you: what kind of dimmer is this?
It doesn’t dim!

Well, that is not one, it is a button/switch.

This is the back side of our dimmer :D There is nothing on the front side. We have a dimmer switch, not a rotary one. You’re right, the photos of dimmers look different, but this is just our dimmer switch, with which we reduce or increase the brightness power. So what else should it be???

My husband still has an electrician contact, whom he asked after my ordered LED bulbs cannot be dimmed.

“Dimmers must fundamentally also be LED-compatible.”

We were already about to go out yesterday evening and buy a new dimmer, then Plan B came to mind: The dimmer stays the old one and we send the LED bulbs back. They are very small anyway.

We will buy halogen bulbs: although they consume more, they can be dimmed, and the consumption balances out with the savings of the new dimmer.
