Thanks first of all for the answers!

We do not have a basement. The internet connection will be laid in the HTR (house technology room, as it is called nowadays^^) where the air-water heat pump and the photovoltaic inverter are also located. These devices are thus practically already right at the source.
I am still somewhat unsure about the kitchen. On the one hand, I currently do not see that I will ever connect devices there - on the other hand, 15 years ago I also did not think that, for example, a robotic vacuum cleaner would roam the house or that the internet would become so ubiquitous in general. So maybe I should reconsider after all...

About the patch cable itself: can something like that actually be crimped? Maybe I will lay the cable in the house myself and I might buy multiple 100m rolls. If afterwards there is a leftover of 20m, that would be a pity... of course, you can make yourself a loose cable or put it aside, but can the cables basically also be extended without losses?

Regards

Possible: yes, soldering iron, insulating tape, aluminum foil, insulating tape again, simple thing. Without loss: no. Better start with the longest connections and if the cable is no longer enough for that, make something shorter. You'll still have waste, but no 20-meter pieces.

Important regarding the cables. Patch cables are the things you use to go from the network socket to the TV. What you need is installation cable. If a piece is left over, it's a pity, but CAT 7 costs less than 1€/m. Somewhere, maybe a hobby room planned or for example a workbench in the garage. Nowadays, you quickly go online with every hobby. When in doubt, one socket too many rather than too few, and if you do it yourself, the additional costs are manageable. But also don't forget that there are more enjoyable tasks than disconnecting the sockets.

Under no circumstances extend it, the cable is too cheap for that.

You will want to have a patch panel in a multimedia cabinet or in a wall enclosure for the switch. The cabinet may indeed be in the HTR. But do you really want to run patch cables out of there?

Urgent recommendation: Wherever FTTH arrives, install at least one network socket and one power outlet. Then you can run the signal from the fiber modem through your patch panel and are flexible in placing the router.

Ok, don’t extend, understood!

Until now, I did not differentiate between network cable and patch cable. I mean the same thing, an installation cable that goes under the plaster. The electrician can then connect them to the socket later...

In that respect, I want to go out of the [HTR] with at most 2-3 cables – namely for the air-to-water heat pump, the photovoltaic manager + X. But I still have to draw and plan everything in detail, it is still a bit too abstract for me.

Can someone recommend a good installation cable, gladly via PN if there is a problem posting here in the thread?
If I want double sockets in the rooms, do I have to or should I use a duplex cable?

So that I get an idea of a fair offer – roughly how much should it cost to install about 7 cables in the whole house? Living area 140 sqm, 4 cables with double sockets on the ground floor, 3 cables with double sockets on the upper floor – classic single-family house.
I know this borders on guesswork because no one knows the distances... please be generous with your estimate, I don’t even have an idea in which direction this goes.
