Which heating method would you choose and why?

Hello,

I see that somewhat differently. Building (insulation standard), location (climate), user behavior, and building services (heating, hot water, ventilation) form a unit and should therefore always be considered comprehensively for an economical solution. Without knowledge of the individual influencing parameters, a general recommendation for a specific concept is somewhat superficial.
Many of the so-called system comparisons published online make me doubt their objectivity.
Best regards

@€uro

the parameters don’t really play a big role in this case :confused:

In the comparison here Pellet versus DV heat pump, only the investment and operating costs are interesting.
Since the investment costs are also not far apart due to the subsidy,...
The maintenance costs of a pellet system are higher anyway, not to mention the lifecycle.

Air heat pumps only become interesting from KFW70-2009,
until even these become uninteresting.

Where do you see a possible alternative?

So I decided on a geothermal heat pump with a brine collector. Yes, it requires electricity, but I am also installing a photovoltaic system on the roof, which obviously does not cover the pump's demand, but overall I produce more electricity than I consume. This way, I will be self-sufficient in the future and no longer have to worry about any electricity price increases. This may now be debatable in some respects, but in this case, I take the liberty of seeing it that way, having a clear conscience and disregarding a cost-effectiveness calculation. I don’t think everything has to be economically viable when building, but I want to live there for 30 years, so you have to think further ahead. And how long a pump lasts, no manufacturer will be able to tell me.

@luemmelchris

well, if you have to finance a photovoltaic system, you simply add quite a bit.

Here, the demand of the energy companies applies that this technology simply has to become 2/3 cheaper.

One will have to see what new applications like the Konzentrator-Photovoltaik will bring.

What do I add on? My photovoltaic system pays for itself plus a surplus of at least €800 (based on past values)

I am stating the premise: "financing." This is not very sensible for any form of investment. Hardly more than a savings account interest rate is possible anyway, but with high risk. On top of that, the current annoyance that many forgot to register their system in 2009 and now receive no compensation at all. Best regards
