Where is the best place to advertise a piece of land (outdoor area)?

Why is that a risk? You sell and it's done. Do you get annoyed with every piece of land whose value rises because you didn’t buy it earlier? With every stock that has gone up since yesterday? Are you angry because you didn’t buy the Gerhard Richter painting in time? No, right? Only with this one piece of land that you once owned do you make an exception and get annoyed if it becomes more expensive and no longer belongs to you?

I know what you mean and basically agree with you (that’s why we have the plan to sell it).

But it’s not quite 100% the same whether I sell something I own below value or whether I didn’t buy an investment that I would have had to actively purchase. If Gerhard Richter had given me a photo of his as a gift, and I sold it back then for €100, and today could get 1 million for it: Yes, then I would be a little annoyed :)

I just saw that a completely normal 50 hp VW Golf 1 from the early 1980s is traded for €3,000 and more ...

and I had sold mine - just because the TÜV had expired - in 1997 for 100 DM

why didn’t I just store the car for 25 years and wait for the increase in value???

Actually, a dealer now wants to give me almost 4K more (about 7.8K instead of 4K = almost double) for my "old diesel clunker" than we calculated 3 months ago ;)
