As much as I like to read that, not to be alone with this view here: in my opinion, this does not apply absolutely regarding the value increase of the property, but is linked to the architectural level. In the case of a general contractor villa, I would limit that to the front door and lift-and-slide elements.

Hmm, increasing value for resale is not the goal, and I can live very well with decent plastic windows. Thicker roof insulation, better insulation under the base slab, and cooling options are already things I will discuss with the provider. I am still skeptical about photovoltaics, because I also have a dislike for the additional tax stuff involved.

I will also store the fact that filled stones don’t make you happier...

Thanks for the hints!

One more question: Does a higher-quality air-water heat pump have a big advantage over the standard devices from Vaillant or Alpha Innotec? Or does it only depend on the design and dimensioning of the underfloor heating? I am skeptical about deep drilling, unfortunately there is no space for the ring collector trench.

If you have a choice, 36.5 aerated concrete is better than Poroton in 36.5. Roof overhang preferably 60 cm to protect the facade and provide some shade at midday in the high summer. Rainwater cistern, water is expensive. You always have a good supply for the garden and also otherwise as service water, washing the car, and so on. Think about a charging station for the car. Consult with the electrician.

I would consider an air well for the controlled residential ventilation... And the controlled residential ventilation with moisture recovery.

Luftbrunnen is a fascinating idea, I didn’t know that before. But it probably doesn’t work for me because of temporarily very high groundwater.

Do you mean "worth it" financially, ecologically, or in terms of comfort?
