What type of flooring do you have/plan to have?

I am now reconsidering whether carpet in the bedroom would be nicer than laminate. How much does carpet cost per sqm? And above all, what should you watch out for to avoid bringing "plasticizers & co" into the bedroom?

Yes, I have also decided on that for my apartment. I had 2-meter wide Tretford material installed. It is carpet made from goat hair and new wool, altogether natural materials. It comes in many shades, so I practically have the carpet tone-on-tone with my tiles in the hallway, etc. Unfortunately, something like that is not quite cheap, it should be around 40 to 45 euros/sqm, excluding installation. But it is really incredibly warm underfoot.

Hallway, bathrooms, utility room - tiles, ground floor (bedroom, living room, kitchen) - vinyl, upper floor - laminate. Budget, budget, budget... otherwise I would have chosen parquet everywhere instead of vinyl/laminate.

Basement, entrance hall, bathroom and guest toilet = tiled. Living room/dining room/kitchen (open area), 3 bedrooms, hallway ground floor & upper floor = high-quality click vinyl parquet. Attic room = laminate.

Hallway, utility room, WC, kitchen/dining, bathroom -> tiled. Living room, bedroom, dressing room, children's room -> parquet. Basement fitness room, storage, workshop, HAR -> bare screed! (for now)

Think carefully about the screed, because you will get endless dust in the place... permanently...
