What kind of enclosure is allowed? Is a bamboo hedge also permitted?

Our neighbor is already looking forward to when the hedgehog stands in front of his big dog [emoji28]

Presumably, the dog draws the short straw. The thorns are not suitable for dog paws and snouts

I am thrilled.
Well, I like hedgehogs, do you (still) too?

I don't see the problem: until now, I have always tried to create a garden corner in the garden so that animals feel comfortable there. I always hope for hedgehogs, and for that, there is leaf litter in the underbrush, ground cover, construction leftovers -> stone pipes and other piled stones, so that animals can overwinter there. My husband has a birdbath as well as birdhouses and is happy when the birds use them. Nest building also takes place in our garden.

Somehow, I see our garden design as a duty to nature, and it is a pity that not everyone has this awareness.

Hey, let's start a club. Besides the compost corner for the hedgehog and various shelters, we also set up a "wild growth corner." There we just let it grow. It is not mowed or cut. A very popular spot for all kinds of insects - especially dragonflies.

I find hedgehogs cute and it doesn’t affect me. Our neighbors lack the money for L stones, so we simply go higher than planned and then create a second level on the property. Unfortunately, the hedgehog has to walk around a bit here [emoji16]
There is hardly any height difference with the neighbors below us, as their house is quite tall and ours is actually rather low.

Although I would have preferred the enclosure in the front, since many people walk around here with unleashed dogs. But it will work out without poop and damage even this way [emoji6]
