What is the difference in sound insulation between a solid house and a prefabricated house?

Exactly, the plot is almost a rectangle. All existing buildings will be completely removed. There is no development plan.

This year, in our 16-year-old solid house, we had a broken water pipe in the kitchen. The wall was opened up, the pipe repaired, and afterwards the wall was dried and closed again; it was all quite uncomplicated and you can't see anything anymore. I don't want to know how it would have looked now if we had a wooden house with mineral wool insulation? It's the same with drilled holes in the wall. Most prefabricated wooden houses have a vapor barrier behind the wood-based panel or drywall. I pierce this vapor barrier every time I drill a hole in the wall somewhere, and over the years, several holes can accumulate. For me, prefabricated houses only have possible disadvantages but no decisive advantages.

Best regards

I meant the elevation profile. In the aerial image, you only see flatness, but not whether this plane is slightly tilted.

Although you name factually tangible reasons, "for me" seems to be an important part of the statement. There are indeed numerous construction differences between timber frame and masonry construction. However, builders are human and may have feelings. And because personal comfort or discomfort may play a role, I do not find it important at all to work out "the" truth about the better construction method purely on a factual level. For example, I am a "blue type," meaning actually fact-oriented, and would therefore have to acknowledge the differences and judge (only) by them. In fact, I feel equally comfortable in houses of both construction methods, and also at the thought of purchasing one or the other. An aunt of mine once had such a house: timber frame prefab construction, basement and annex (former garage) solid, the living room later enlarged by breaking through into the garage. That works too. Classically, the mason’s house also has a room roof.

Oh, sorry. Yes, the entire property is quite level without a slope.
