What is a realistic price for a SAT system including installation?

The statement about the expensive LNBs and dishes comes from the TV salespeople. Our dish and LNB together did not cost 60 euros. When the technician was there for installation, he understood why no one buys their expensive stuff. The values were better than those of his expensive LNB.

Do you caress your satellite dish every day? No offense, maybe the quality is really better (thicker sheet metal, etc.), but why? The supposed cheap stuff lasts >10 years, costs a fraction, and performs the same. If there is reception, there is reception. Period. The Kathrein dish does not enhance your TV experience in any way. What you are left with is a bill twice as high and the good feeling of having something fancy on the roof.
