I just googled a bit more. DN20 is usually recommended as the supply line to the bathroom and sometimes also to the kitchen; for the actual supply line to the individual tap points, DN16 is apparently sufficient. Only the supply line to a rain shower in the bathroom should also have at least DN20. Larger diameters are therefore always useful when the line branches further.To my knowledge, only the toilet flush valves should have larger diameters, e.g. DN20, otherwise everything else is DN15.
