A well is really individual, for example, with us the entire drilling for geothermal energy was completely dry (after a few meters only rock, because we are on a mountain and there is not really any groundwater, it probably all flows away).

My neighbor reported that the geothermal drilling went down to 62 meters and found no water source usable for a well. Only layer water on the way down.

Then there are the regions where wells are possible, but the water is toxic. Although I don't want to speak badly of this, this problem is certainly not widespread.

I just wanted to say that if a single outdoor water tap is supposed to cost 620 euros (or even 300 euros for that matter - you usually want more than one), then you should consider a drilling or flushing (if possible), because it is then financially worthwhile. Depending on the size of the irrigation area anyway...

For me, wells and cisterns etc. are always to be seen in addition to the outdoor water tap anyway.
