If we further advance robotics, we gain time for what matters most, and that is people. If we then also tax robot performance or productivity instead of human labor, we gain financial resources for non-productive work by humans for humans and make it more affordable. It is not the technology that determines how things will turn out, but the way we use it for ourselves.

So ... if one wants to put it provocatively, advances in robotics and technology do not only bring blessings to humanity. A prominent example is mobile phones (especially) among children.

Furthermore: See civilization diseases ...

And if we continue to push robotics and AI, soon, for example, robots will be sitting in the "court" judging humans?

And if grandma soon requires care, we will send her a "Pepper" robot to the house, which is more convenient. Of course, one can point out that a "Pepper" in the household can be helpful for support, to allow people to stay (longer) in their familiar environment. However, for that, there are (still) care services (still) with humans.

That was already the promise of the steam turbine,... it didn’t work back then either.
