... Especially since we have to somewhat adhere to the development plan, which even specifies that the parking spaces should be built in the north. We have already offered a compromise solution in which the parking spaces are next to and not above the house, in order to keep the wall as small as possible. Either way, we will have to support the entrance to the house.

Unfortunately, the neighbor blocked from the very beginning and also does not respond to attempts to make contact. For now, we will not take any action and will wait for the city's response. Maybe the matter will resolve itself. If not, well, we do have rights.
At least the other neighbors seem to be nice so far.

That’s what I thought when reading the previous post. For the sake of peace, you back down, don’t insist on your right, but the relationship with the neighbor is already damaged by just addressing the problem.

Always stay friendly… and I hope that at least on the other side you can maintain a good neighborly relationship.

It seems to be something similar with . Simply bringing it up (or the purchase of the property) made him target number one.

I completely agree with you! As far as I understand, the neighbor is already at odds with the person responsible for the development plan from the city anyway.

Probably because he only then realized that he had planned badly.

Hello ,

no idea why there is so much discussion here, but given the situation the first thing I would get is the neighbor’s building application. You have a legitimate interest in it, so it must at least be made accessible to you. Then go to your own architect and talk to the approval authority.

The core problem here is the original ground level with the respective changes, but these only emerge from the building application or your changes refer to the level currently existing on your property.

Everything else is guesswork.

Best regards

Hello everyone,

there is something new.
We are still waiting for the building permit (now it has been almost three months), but yesterday we were at the municipal building authority to approve our neighbors' project. We took this opportunity to ask about the status of our matter.
The building application is now with the district, but we were able to briefly talk to the person responsible at the city, and when he flipped through our file, the word "law firm" immediately caught my eye. The upper neighbor has indeed already involved his lawyer – two letters have already been sent to the city.
The person from the city said that he did not want to alarm us now and that we should first wait to see if the district says anything. In fact, a few weeks ago there was a request to the developer for more precise data about our planned wall, such as cross-section, etc.
However, since then nothing more has come.

Even though we try not to worry, I am quite pissed off. Instead of talking to us first (which we had offered him), the neighbor immediately went the lawyer route. At least he does not seem to value a good neighborly relationship. I just find it cowardly and sad.

That’s the status for now, I will get back to you if there are any updates.
