I also have all-glass all around (2 sides free-standing completely clear, 2 at the wall light gray back-painted). I skipped the nonsense with the "satin privacy stripe" (sorry ), 1. because I live alone and 2. if you don’t want to see yourself naked more while showering, it’s time for sports. Inside it is nice and bright because of that; usually in summer I don’t even turn on the light while showering (daylight window ;-) In winter, however, I get up too early  I have also meanwhile found a suitable solution for shampoo etc. that is stylish, easy to clean, and suitable for finished glass walls (photo later sometime)

You don't need to apologize to me. I addressed the OP (it's not about my or your wishes), who probably won't live alone and is specifically asking for patterned ones.

Just make the shower a little longer and put a half-height wall at the foot end. Then the shower will have a side entrance. There should still be enough space up to the toilet, I assume.

I have such a small wall at the foot end and it is very practical. It is also much easier and faster to clean than the niches.

Yes, a bit of privacy would definitely be important. We have 2 children, one of them 12 years old, so the sense of modesty is quite pronounced.

A built masonry shower wall would basically still be possible, that was actually the original plan with glass on top. What do you think, would a drywall wall with glass on top also be stable? Does anyone have something like that? It wouldn't take up much space, but our construction company advises against it. They are not very enthusiastic about masonry, since masonry and plastering are basically finished. They would of course still do it... however, we are looking for alternatives.

Bertram100, do you possibly have a photo?

We can't make the shower any longer because we would have problems with the bathtub, and besides, we would completely block the windows there.

We have a half-height wall and then glass above it. Very practical for placing the bottles ...
