Hello everyone,

We are currently planning the floors for our house that we bought. While we are sure that we want oak parquet in the living/dining room and actually also in the bedrooms including the children's rooms (although our children are no longer that small but will still use them accordingly), we tend to prefer vinyl in the converted attic and especially in the converted basement. There is direct access to the garden from there. The floor installer also said that vinyl is suitable there. He has now given us a pallet from his vinyl floor manufacturer, and visually we like oak natural best here as well. This is very close to the parquet we have chosen. However, I would like to know if anyone here knows the brand (onefloor Europe Home Concept 30). According to the description on the manufacturer's page, it has very low VOC values and is phthalate-free, formaldehyde corresponds to E1. I did not find Blue Angel. It seems to me to be of decent quality. But I am an absolute layperson in this regard. I often read about Parador here. I assume the floor installer offers this and possibly no others.

According to the manufacturer's page, this vinyl can be laid directly on tiles. What do you think about that?

We also have onefloor and are satisfied. Without carrier plate and directly glued.

and did you have a plastic smell at the beginning or was that OK? You generally keep reading about that.

no smell - I think the wall paint smelled more like "freshly painted" :)

We have just covered our entire house (except storage and wet rooms) with Parador vinyl. No unpleasant odors, headaches, or anything like that.

But if you’re already using plastic, just use laminate. It’s not quite as much plastic and much cheaper...
