Upper floor -> Bad idea generation

The staircase already exists as is and should actually only get a new covering since a new staircase means a lot of effort and money. (aber natürlich wäre die gedreht besser). Somehow, I just have the annoying feeling that a lot of space in the hallway is being wasted, since for us the hallway is purely a functional space and we would never sit there in a chair (e.g., to read).
