The strange dormer is probably more expensive than simply building all around at full story height, and double casement windows usually look quite odd with today's roof insulation thicknesses.

Good morning

I find the suggestion from BeHaElja much better than the original.
However, I would add a Hanwaschbecken in the WC

That is not a dormer, but a cross-gable From 1.50 m knee wall to 2.80 m clear shell construction dimension? That costs more than a cross-gable. Rhineland regards

1.30m x (10.13 + 9.00 + 9.00 + 10.13 - 0.365 - 0.365) * 0.365 = 1.30 x 37.53 x 0.365 = 13.70 cbm masonry. 220 EUR x 13.70 x 1.19 = 3,586.66 EUR (aerated concrete monolithic) Interior plaster (10 EUR), exterior plaster (20 EUR) on an area of 1.3 x 37.53 = 48.79 sqm 48.79 sqm x 30 EUR x 1.19 = 1,741.80 EUR Masonry and plaster = 5,328.46 EUR And what does the dormer cost? Are all the numerous additional connections easily achievable without thermal bridges? What are 5,000 EUR in a house construction costing 400,000 EUR and more (including land and all purchase and incidental building costs)? P.S. The costs for the cbm external masonry aerated concrete (Lambda 0.09) I had really just inquired recently. The values for interior and exterior plaster are roughly estimated now.

Of course; why not?

In your calculation example, I am missing some items that a proper businessman must consider; after all, he wants to be able to operate successfully for many years.

Rhenish greetings from on the road

I am a bit torn - before our construction I would have said that two stories is definitely better than one. Now I have been dealing with houses from outside and inside for a year. Two-story often becomes a box, single-story often the Nikolaus house (exceptions prove the rule, but I can only afford that to a limited extent ) We also built with 1.6 m knee wall (we had to build single-story). The rooms feel nice; tiles are in now - I don’t know if I would have really liked two stories that much better. I will get back to you after furnishing
