Two-family house up to €270,000?

A legal protection insurance for a new building is very rare. Almost no insurance company offers it anymore. And I fear that, just as we will exhaust ours, they will reconsider it for the future...

We only got the legal protection for the construction because the KSK has a cooperation with this insurance company, and we bought it together with the financing. In this way or another, it would not be possible to get the legal protection through the insurance; they apparently only do it with a construction loan from the KSK. And how glad we are to have it...

Many savings banks currently offer legal protection insurance for construction under the name "Immobilien-Spezial-Rechtsschutz" or "Bauherren-Rechtsschutz" through the [ÖRAG Versicherung].

I had my legal expenses insurance with OERAG for 18 years.

Everything went smoothly – during those 18 years, I used the initial consultation with a contract lawyer twice and once legal representation.

In both cases, after legal correspondence (with the opposing motor vehicle insurance), we were in the right, and the opponent had to cover our legal fees each time – so our insurance did not bear any loss.

The support from OERAG and the recommended specialist lawyers was good in both cases.

Please take a close look at the exact conditions. This package is not a full RV insurance for house construction! It is a good starting block, but can quickly run out of steam due to the (in my opinion quite low) insurance sums.
