I had underfloor heating milled into the screed upstairs afterwards, which has a controller upstairs (or what is that thing called where the pipes are connected in a row and there is another row with additional indicators on top). What do I have to do to turn on the underfloor heating upstairs? The indicator tubes are set to "all the way up," at 0 flow. Can someone maybe help from a distance? Thanks in advance!

hm, at 100% flow would be my guess from a distance. 0 flow basically means off.

Heating circuit distributor with flow meters. If all the valves there are fully open and there is no flow, the circuit at the bottom or directly behind the heating system must still be opened. But: The installation of the underfloor heating usually also includes pressure testing, filling, and commissioning. Has no one done that?

Thanks :)

Well, everything was set up three years ago and it worked too. But since then, I haven't turned on the heating upstairs. And now I just don't know how to turn it back on.
I'll check if the main line is still closed. Thanks for the tip.

The main line is open. I have now noticed that the blue "buttons" are just caps that simply fall off if turned far enough. Now I can only read from the indicators that there is no flow anywhere. But how I can then turn them when the "buttons" are just decoration, I don’t know either.

As the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words. So come on, take some photos of everything. Always only two to three sentences of text don’t really help ;-)
