Trapezoidal plot - house placement?

Oops, my phone scrolled away the blue picture ;) Ok.., I would probably place the house a bit further to the north. Reasoning: Garden in the south and the garden a bit quieter in front of the house. Windows to the north for utility rooms or in the attic for bathroom and parents' bedroom, which then have soundproofing. All main living areas facing south and west. Terrace in the south (west). Garage and driveway on the east side.

I would see it exactly the same way ... besides, I also think I once saw sound patterns indicating that you might have the quieter building spot on this property more to the north, because sound waves tend to go upwards first before they basically fall down. However, this memory is rather vague; I would have to check it again now. .. wouldn't it be easiest if you copied the legend of the development plan and also the area where you can see what relates to your property?

No, I see it like you and just wanted to emphasize that. I would divide the rooms similarly to you, just like the master bedroom facing north ... and without fear of too much noise. And the noise doesn’t just drop off right in front of the house ;).

Well, that at ear level of the person standing on the premises is not the same as in the attic.
