Yes, in the pictures there are also still no damages to be seen, it is all just superficial and within limits.

A silly question from a reader and first-time builder... where do you put the [Bautrockner] when the screed has just been poured? Directly on the screed is rather not an option, or is it?

Well, after about 24 hours you can already put it there.
Ideally, of course, at a height of 1-1.5m on scaffolding.
1. better circulation
2. slope for the drain hose

More important is that the screed sets/cures evenly and not just in spots.

So, later after all? I understood RotorMotor to have put it in directly. So I plan to go there after a day with dehumidifiers, trestles, and a load of boards and hoses and set it up. Right?

No, you can definitely relax a bit. Wait 48 hours, then you can start with drying fans and ventilation at this time of year. If in doubt, ask your screed installer. Do you get standard cement screed or anhydrite screed? It’s only important that no condensation forms untreated for weeks and the water has no way to escape. Are you building with a second floor? Then the water tends to collect under the skylights. Then I would set up the drying fan upstairs.

By the time the screed comes in for me, it will be more like summer, so I hadn’t really thought much about it yet. I had kept it pretty calm in my mind so far but found it crazy how quickly the mold appears there and definitely want to avoid that. But then I’ll wait until the screed situation becomes more concrete before planning more.

We are building with 2 full floors and a cold attic above. So there are no roof windows, but in the attic we will definitely tilt the windows if moisture comes in through the hatch.
