Hello,
soon the tenant will be moving into a small one-room apartment. The bathroom is certainly a bit older (see pictures - the door and frame have already been painted white).
My idea would be to retile the bathroom and install new fixtures. No new pipes are to be laid.
The bathroom is relatively small, I estimate around 2-3 sqm. Just around the corner to the right is a small shower tray.
Can a layperson tile something like this? I do have the desire and interest, and there is always a first time, or rather, you have to learn. And it is not my own apartment, nor a high-priced rental.
I would have to buy tools. My craftsmanship skills are average.
How do you assess the whole thing?
Best regards
PS: I have painted tiles in the neighboring apartment. It was a lot of hard work and I’m unfortunately not entirely convinced by the result.
