Tiles: Have skirting boards cut or order them ready-made?

I wouldn't know what should look bad about it. Otherwise, you would have a joint every 20 cm, which you could save.

I have to say, I have never noticed that until now. We ourselves have rectangular ones. and there the baseboard joints are flush with the floor joint.

And when I google, I mostly see pictures without a baseboard or with one painted white...

Yes, that's how it's done, also the length of about 1.20 on the short side. Since these tiles are laid in a random pattern anyway, it doesn't look strange. It would actually look worse to place only 20cm long remnants on one side. Skip the baseboards and take accordingly more tile planks.

By the way, the wood-look fake looks significantly better without a tile baseboard, if I may add. A white baseboard (with its pros and cons) would be more believable.

I am also facing this decision. I have wood-look tiles 30x120cm. For about 60 linear meters, baseboard tiles (unfortunately only in size 7x60cm) cost around €700. Material costs for the 30x120cm tiles are about €120.

Does anyone have experience with costs for a "rounded" cut? (Per tile --> 4 cuts). I know it depends on the location. Wanted to get an approximate price.

Otherwise, just take more tiles and cut two skirting boards of 5cm each from every tile. These will then have perfect edges.
I don't know a rounded cut. Also wouldn't know how that should work or look with porcelain stoneware.
