Off topic: Really? We signed around that and I am still hopeful that we can keep it

Sure, tiling yourself. 8 out of 10 people can’t even use a putty knife and 9 out of 10 are now googling what that is ..

Like everything in life, no rocket science. But today’s generation of Curry King and Meica sausage fans first have to watch YouTube and watch the influencer unbox the iPhone778..

No matter how offensively you put it, 8 out of 10 do not manage it. The reasons are certainly diverse ...

I don't think anyone needs to brag about being able to do it here. If not, then they have other talents.

I've been through it too, but only 50 sqm with a rustic 30 x 30 tile look and 1 cm wide tiles. Back in 1999 that was very stylish and probably a bit more forgiving than today's 60 x 60 ones without grout. The result was decent, as long as you didn't look at the edges, where a 2 cm wide silicone joint had to cover a lot. But I had to deal with the consequences of an undetected slipped disc for 10 years. Back then there was no YouTube, but well-stocked libraries where you could borrow craft books. It was a used property... in a new build I would finance the euros. In the used market back then, that wasn't feasible.

So, I discussed it with my boss, either no great kitchen or a tiler. In short, bathrooms will be tiled by a professional, I'll do the rest.

If it continues like this, I'll do everything on the house myself, I'm the type who does everything himself anyway, and I'd rather be annoyed about my own botch than about that of a professional company that still got money from me.

I still thank you for the lively discussion, it helped me a lot and will surely help others as well.
