The object complies with the KfW standard. What does that mean?

Wow, I hope I haven't started an argument now... I really wasn't concerned about whether kfw55 makes sense or is worth the extra cost, but rather about whether I am entitled to KFW 55 if the contract states that the house complies with the kfw standard.

No worries, at least I don't perceive it as a quarrel, but as an exchange of opposing opinions. Everything is fine on my side [emoji4] Regarding the requirement: I think you are aiming for an Energy Saving Ordinance 2016 (formerly kfw70) house. There is also KFW40 etc. so why specifically KFW55? I think that was just marketing and nothing more. But I am not a lawyer or anything like that, so caution: layman's opinion [emoji4]

Ask around.

The first funding level of KFW is KFW 55. In their thinking, there is nothing lower. In this respect, I (!) think that "KFW Standard" can only mean KFW 55.
Your general contractor probably sees it differently, and when lawyers start nitpicking, it gets really funny.

There is no "KFW Standard," so interpretation is unavoidable.

Because that is the worst standard that (I thought) can be preceded by a kfw. The former Kfw 70 is now the Energy Saving Ordinance standard and therefore (I thought) no longer a kfw standard... That was my line of thought ;)

Hey Nordlys, that will easily be enough. We also built according to the Energy Saving Ordinance and in cold Bavaria, 4 people consumed about 40€ per month (09/2016 - 09/2017).
