The floor plan is ready - any suggestions for improvement?

Yes, we actually like the floor plan a lot too, but as I said, the big bend just doesn’t fit at all. The idea with the wardrobe is a great one, thanks.

Your architect must have already put some brainpower into avoiding this bottleneck. Maybe it simply helps to emphasize it correctly .. wood cladding or special aluminum cladding, also in different colors or something similar.

I’m afraid you won’t be able to do it differently with the roof shape.

And yes, I love well-hidden but well-usable storage space in the places where you need it

What don't you like about the gutter? Visually? Or functionally (water drainage)? How about the gutter (that is, the flat roof part) made of glass? It could visually loosen it up and bring in light. But whether that would be advantageous functionally (greening, sealing, cleaning, insulation, etc.)... no idea....

The only thing I really don't like about your floor plan is the orientation on the plot (ok, that's hard to do differently), the open kitchen (personal opinion, but I could well imagine a partition wall and additional door(s)), and the relatively small office – so all three are rather personal opinions :)

I really like, for example, the entrance from the garage to the utility room (also pantry?), the sleeping-dressing-bathroom solutions on the upper floor!

Somehow the floor plans seem familiar to me (layout/font), could you maybe give me a hint (also gladly by DM) if this is a finished plan? Oh yes, and roughly what budget are we talking about, if I may ask?

Much success already,

b.

Morning, well personally I don't like the large valley because I also don't like flat roofs. It is true that there has to be a valley there, but not such a big one!!! Unfortunately, I have already tried a lot to get rid of it. You could build the garage higher, but then I wouldn’t be able to fit the width of the bathroom window anymore. And actually, I didn’t want to change the original floor plan that much anymore. the design was created by us ourselves and was only revised by the architect. I think the costs are around €250,000 excluding the plot.
