I think so, the concrete wall has a lot of "mass" involved = good sound insulation.

Which fire protection class (30, 60, 90, 120...) applies to (your) fire protection wall in the row house?

We built in BW, so according to the General Implementation Regulation of the Ministry of Economic Affairs for the State Building Code (LBOAVO) -> §7:

as building end walls, if these end walls are built with a distance of less than 2.50 m to the neighboring boundary or with a distance of less than 5 m to existing or building-law permitted buildings on the same property, unless a distance of at least 5 m to existing or future buildings permitted by building regulations is ensured,

Which fire protection class to choose here -> no idea :rolleyes: The construction contract and building application only say "fire protection wall".

Hi everyone,

I have attached our plan including execution. In the end, there are no major special features here except:
- our 30cm YTONG wall was built as usual and the visible part plastered
- between the adjacent garage and our residential building, 2-4 cm separating soft fiberboard panels were used
- according to specifications, no windows are allowed and thus the wall is considered a fire protection wall
-- others in the street have also installed windows here and executed them as fire protection windows, although I do not know the protection class

As for the noise level, I can say I do not notice anything.
