Terrace: Laying tiles on gravel

These are probably tiles, but not classic terrace slabs. For a gravel bed, you need slabs with mass, so large (from 40 x 40) with appropriate thickness. Minimum 2 cm, better > 2 cm. Pedestals on a gravel bed logically make no sense.

We have split bed bedding, so the tiles do not sound hollow like with pedestal supports.

A small tip: split bed maximum 3cm, so it becomes even firmer.
