At Unitymedia there are many ways to reach the goal. There are local representatives or the builder hotline, which might be able to turn your construction into a small project and then you only pay a fair share. Do you have a UM office nearby that you can visit? Oh, and one more thing: I would still have Telekom installed, it’s always good to have a second option!

No, I don't know an office here, but you could look around in the area. But those are mostly brokers who want to sell products, right? I don't believe they can do more than the [Bauherrenservice]. I had a phone call with the [Bauherrenservice], so I know. But according to their own statement, they still need 10 weeks to create a negotiable offer at all.

For the second connection (cable vs. Telekom) I had planned a empty conduit, and to catch up with the other connection two years later, so that I can also get the 400€ discount.

Have you coordinated with the neighbors? Maybe they are also interested in cable and would contribute? How many meters are we talking about here?

There are no neighbors yet and it is about approximately 20m below the street (which still has to be built).

And yet first have the Telekom connection installed (empty conduit for cable) and when there are neighbors who are also interested in cable, initiate a conversation?

Yes exactly, that is the alternative at the moment. I spoke again with the city, they say whether expansion happens or not is in the hands of the network operator. I called Unity Media, they say planning for expansion is the city's responsibility, they would issue a tender and then usually decide on either cable or Telekom. I called the city again and told them what Unity Media said and he just shook his head. What probably happens is that the city issues a notification to the network operators for new development areas and they can then get involved in the planning if they consider it profitable. However, said notification will only take place next year with us because only then will construction phase two be implemented. For me, this now means take Telekom, wait and hope that Unity Media also joins in. Thanks for your brainpower.
