Hello everyone,

I need the collective knowledge of the forum once again.

Currently, the access road/(construction) road to our new development area is being developed.

Under the road, only two plastic pipes are (visible) lying (1x wastewater and 1x green empty conduit):

Today I seriously asked myself where the supply lines with
– fiber optic
– power/ground cable
– water connection
– possibly gas line

are located?

Usually, the wastewater channel is the deepest pipe in the road, isn't it?

In picture 1, however, you can see that the rear part of the road – apart from the asphalt layer – is already finished and no channels/supply lines are coming out there.

I am a bit confused and hope for clarification. :D

Thanks to you all in advance!

No idea how it is usually done but with us gas, water etc. are located under the sidewalk.

But there also seems to be nothing underneath the future sidewalk. This can be clearly seen in the supply trenches to the individual properties ([Bild 1 und 3]). Or will it be opened up again later? I can't imagine that. That would make no sense at all.

That's exactly how it's done. There is hardly any other way, since if all the utility carriers worked at the same time, they would get in each other's way with the construction equipment and into the trenches. Usually, due to the elevation of the utilities in the road structure, the construction sequence is as follows: first the deep utilities, i.e. sewer, then water, followed by gas/district heating, and finally copper, fiber optic, electricity, and empty conduit stuff.

Oh, great. Thanks to you!

From my point of view it doesn’t make much sense, but I’m relieved that nothing was forgotten. :-)

Do you think the surveyor can already carry out the height measurement of the property and create a site plan so that we can proceed with the building notification?

The length and width of the property have already been measured and boundary stones have already been set.
