I did the same thing with a floor a long time ago. The problem is that the hand sander produces a different sanding pattern, which then becomes visible after oiling. As soon as you add color pigments, you can see it even more clearly. Do everything by hand again? I think you would have to go over it one more time with 150-180 mm in the end, but even if you do everything manually, you will see the differences. We just finished this with already sanded solid wood floorboards. In the end, we decided not to sand anymore and to leave the machine-supplied sanding as it was, without sanding ourselves. Since the floor looks rather rough-rustic due to the dark coloring, the scratches and "imperfections" don’t matter; it looks intentional. Maybe you should just let go of the idea of a flawless floor and experiment a bit. We tried many options, and in the end it was still a bit of a gamble. About Osmo: They also have different products. For example, this time we painted our wood panels in the bathroom twice with Remmers hard wax oil, with the result that we will now try Osmo hard wax oil or decorative wax. You can immediately see every water drop or edge of a cup; I know it differently from Osmo. So I don’t really have a solution for you, but I also don’t believe that just the choice of product or manual sanding can solve the "problem." I’m curious to see how it goes on......
