Just want to know what the advantage is compared to my Polish windows. I can look outside too, they are also tight, not drafty, probably only half as expensive. You can make elephants out of some mosquitoes. Karsten
I don't like the format.
(I don't want to speak badly of it though)
Then I don't like looking at plastic from the inside and under no circumstances should it have a plastic handle.
My wish is wood aluminum + stainless steel handle.
The price difference would have to be extreme for me to choose plastic windows. But maybe that's what it will come down to [emoji4]
You choose the handle separately. I take red white aluminum, but others are possible. Have the house calculated with wood aluminum from DK and PVC from PL, suddenly those from PL become much nicer. But don’t compare apples and oranges either. With plastic, there are all kinds of different U-values and so on. There is also really bad quality. Always compare what is decent. Triple glazing, steel reinforced, U-value well below 1 for plastic.
The price difference has to be extreme for me to choose plastic windows.
Aluminum still looks new after forty years, plastic you will want to get rid of after fifteen years. For that, I find only about thirteen to seventeen percent lower price "rip-off." However, the lower price can also be significantly higher, at least in bulk quantities. The aluminum providers are clearly not targeting budget customers. And wood/aluminum is the most expensive if you don’t skimp on the wood.
