Squeeze Ikea Pax into a too small niche?

My wall is 223 cm and according to the Ikea website a 75 cm wardrobe is actually 74.8 cm wide. So with three 75 cm wardrobes I would get 224.4 cm and therefore would have about 15 mm too little. Now a few questions:

1.) Can I have sliding doors on the left and right and an open wardrobe in the middle?

2.) Can I build the wardrobe in the middle without its own carcass walls, i.e. use the walls from the right and left wardrobe to gain the mentioned 15 mm (or would that be 2x 20 mm carcass walls that I could save)?

Has Hausbau-Forum.de actually taken over the Ikea-Fans forum? How about setting up a mailing list for that? It would surely attract the old users again.

Regards

Where measured? Did you consider the baseboard?

What do you intend to attach the top, back panel, interior fittings, and doors to then?
If you leave out the walls, you are basically leaving out the whole cabinet. The result would be the base standing on the floor and nothing else. What is that supposed to achieve?
Just take a 50 one in the middle.

With the few millimeters, I would plan a cabinet without drawers and cut all horizontal parts with the circular saw and, if necessary, re-drill the boards.

They are excluded and I would cut them anyway at the height of the plinth, since the cabinet is to be closed all around (e.g. with drywall).

To be precise, I wouldn’t even have a plinth, because according to the instructions it is also attached to the carcass.

The Pax back panel, unlike Metod, does not lie in a groove. Therefore, I would only have to mill off the web on one side and then nail it in from the back:

Drilling the holes for the interior fittings would not be a challenge now. However, I’m just noticing the actual problem. The screws and wooden dowels are then all exactly at the same height and logically don’t fit on both sides of a board. Also, it would probably be pretty impossible to completely screw together three cabinets and then push them against the wall.

No, then I’d rather take two 100s.

That's true. That would be a good option.

What does that look like? Can I even let sliding doors run over a centrally open cabinet, basically separating them from each other? The sliding doors are only available as 150cm or 200cm wide.

EDIT: According to the instructions, I would only have the problem that I can get guide rails a maximum of 200cm wide. And a "stopper" is pre-mounted on the left and right:

So I would need a 150cm sliding door pair and from the spare parts I would have to reorder the two rails for top and bottom, from which I would then cut off 112.5cm each so that I have the stopper on the left and right and the rails run over the entire cabinet surface. The rest should remain original if I haven't overlooked anything.

Accordingly, step 1 would be to clarify whether the spare parts service sends me these rails. Or if I find something in the bargain bin or on eBay Classifieds.

Unfortunately, I can't edit any further. Of course, 111.5 cm or less, depending on how wide the cabinet will then be.

Where there's a will, there's a way:

Four 80x220cm (this size is not available at Ikea) Metod cabinets as built-in office cabinets:

"Doppatrink" double drawer for beverage crates because of the increased load capacity:

And the "Äckenkrumm" because I absolutely wanted symmetry in the kitchen:

So I won't give up that easily
